ast week the White House sent out a press release trying to strengthen Obama's image on foreign policy and war on terrorism. In the statement, they discussed how Obama sits around every morning and shuffles a deck of cards with various terrorists names and faces on it, trying to decide whose life he will end that day with a drone missile attack. The White House senses that Obama looks weak on foreign matters, and wants to strengthen his image as this all-powerful drone warrior.

hile Obama flails around like a fish out of water on it's death bed when it comes to Syria, Romney is making strong statements daily about an intervention Syria. A Letter A Day
We are launching a new campaign called "A Letter A Day for Syria". Every day, before you sleep at night, send a letter to your congressional leaders and president Obama urging them to help the Syrian people. This is the most effective campaign and will get the most results. Our goal is to have 2 million letters sent to congress by Memorial Day 2012!
Register now with Congress.org website. This will save all of your information, and you can quickly send a letter every day without having to login, edit your information, and reuse it.
They count how many letters are sent on each topic and that influences the decision makers. "Senator, we got another 15 on Syria."

“After a year of bloodshed, the crisis in Syria has reached a decisive moment.
“It is estimated that more than 7,500 lives have been lost. The United Nations has declared that Syrian security forces are guilty of crimes against humanity, including the indiscriminate shelling of civilians, the execution of defectors, and the widespread torture of prisoners. Bashar Al-Assad is now doing to Homs what his father did to Hama. Aerial photographs procured by Human Rights Watch show a city that has been laid to waste by Assad’s tanks and artillery. A British photographer who was wounded and evacuated from the city described it as ‘a medieval siege and slaughter.’ The kinds of mass atrocities that NATO intervened in Libya to prevent in Benghazi are now a reality in Homs. Indeed, Syria today is the scene of some of the worst state-sponsored violence since Milosevic’s war crimes in the Balkans, or Russia’s annihilation of the Chechen city of Grozny.

Fifty-six leading conservative foreign-policy experts wrote an open letter Friday to U.S. President Barack Obama calling on him to directly aid the Syrian opposition and protect the lives of Syrian civilians.
"For eleven months now, the Syrian people have been dying on a daily basis at the hands of their government as they seek to topple the brutal regime of Bashar al-Assad. As the recent events in the city of Homs-in which hundreds of Syrians have been killed in a matter of days-have shown, Assad will stop at nothing to maintain his grip on power," wrote the experts.

Sign up with http://Congress.org and they will automatically find your congressional and senate leaders, as well as the president. You can quickly send them a short letter (email or printed) supporting quick action in Syria. The shorter the message the more likely it will be read.
Here is a sample letter:
The situation in Syria has gone from really bad to horrifyingly catastrophic very quickly. A massacre is taking place in various cities in Syria, especially the city of Homs, and we are yet to take a full stand against Syria's ruthless dictator, Assad. We have to act quickly to prevent further deaths and injury. Assad's regime is mercilessly killing men, women, and children indiscriminately with tanks, aerial bombardment, and armed troops and thugs. A full blown massacre is under way!
Over 8000 have been killed (that we can account for) and the real figure is probably double or triple that number, but Amnesty stopped keeping track in January 2012. Why do we stand idly by and allow this to happen?
We need to enforce a no-fly zone immediately and a humantitarian zone where Assad's troops are not allowed to cross into to kill innocent civilians that have lost their homes and are seeking shelter. When Gadaffi threatened a massacre, we acted quickly. Assad is actually commiting one. How much longer can we allow this to go on?
Thank you and please act quickly.
